Welcome to our Lung and Allergy Clinic! We are now offering an opportunity to apply for a nursing position with us to strengthen our work at the clinic as well as on our care ward.

The Role of the Nurse

At the Lung and Allergy Clinic, we work with patients who have lung diseases such as COPD, lung cancer, lung fibrosis, as well as allergies and asthma. You will work in an exciting field where both diagnostics and treatment methods have improved for our patients and continue to do so.

You will work with telephone advice in Tele Q, nurse and doctor consultations within allergy and pulmonary medicine. Additionally, you will be involved in allergy vaccinations and nurse-led SLIT consultations (sublingual immunotherapy).

On the care ward, you will be involved in medication management, patient care, and contact with relatives. The work is independent, and you will have the chance to use your skills and experience to meet the needs of the patients. Your Future Workplace

The Lung and Allergy Clinic is part of Medical Care Unit C, which also includes the endocrinology and diabetes section. Here, there is also a day care unit and an inpatient care unit. Eight nurses and two nursing assistants work at the clinic. The work is team-based around the patient, and we provide acute care as well as palliative care. We have outpatient services Monday to Friday during daytime hours, with working hours between 7:45 AM and 4:30 PM.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse who has worked for several years and feels confident in your professional role. It is important that you, like us, are engaged in your profession and want to contribute to maintaining our high quality of care. Previous experience and knowledge in pulmonary medicine and endocrinology is an advantage but not a requirement. With us, you will have a job where you can help develop our operations while also growing in your professional role.

As a person, you enjoy working both independently and in a team, and you need to be able to plan and structure your daily work. You find it easy to collaborate with others and have a flexible mindset, as the overall perspective of the unit and clinic is important to us. You see good communication as a given and understand the importance of reaching your audience in a pedagogical way. We see that you have a strong interest in the development and improvement of our operations. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
